Ponder HOW “God Is At Work ‘VIA’ Life Itself”

Our ‘title theme’ – and ‘inset quotes’ – (in #33 mode) continue to ‘dig deeper’ into “The ‘VIA’ Concept” at the heart of this website’s (‘Konect 1-2-1’) ‘VIA’ LOGO.

As you will be aware, from reading ‘ongoing’ articles, the Good News tag ‘crops up’ (as a ‘benchmark’) quite a bit. So, to ‘better’ understand Good News, let’s ‘contrast and compare’ with Bad News. Are you ready for a “shock”? The Bad News is ::: “Human beings are utterly incapable of living Christian lives” ::: The Good News is ::: “Christ enables us to live Christian lives ‘through-with-in’ Him” (CCC 521). In sum: Bad News is ‘social / spiritual’ DISCONNECT – and – Good News is ‘spiritual / social’ RECONNECT.

The ‘VIA’ Way : Value Identity Affirmation 

“The ‘VIA’ Concept” is a ‘WAY OF BEING’ ::: “In God we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28) ::: “The glory of God is man fully alive” (St. Irenaeus) ::: “And you, too, must think of yourselves as dead to sin, and alive with a life that looks towards God, through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:11) –

Intentional Relational Confessional 

– all God ‘wants back’ is His prodigal child –

So, you may ask: WHERE is REALITY? Here’s my answer –

‘Life Itself’ is the reality of ‘God at Work’

– every instant of existence is God given –

– each second, minute, hour, day is: ‘God’s Will’ –

Yes, we seem to have got ‘life itself’ back to front ::: we are not ‘human’ beings seeking to be ‘spiritual’ beings ::: we are ‘spiritual’ beings seeking to be ‘human’ beings. And, this ‘understanding’ puts a whole new ‘perspective’ on ‘life itself’. So, let’s ‘ponder’ the Christian “world view” ::: GIFT ::: GRACE ::: GLORY.

GIFT : “image and likeness” : We are created in the “image and likeness” of God.This GIFT recognition – our ‘spiritual human’ vocation –  was made manifest in Jesus the Christ – ‘the divine human’ – and brings to light our innate ‘value’.

GRACE : “hunger and thirst” : We are created with a “hunger and thirst” for God. This GRACE acknowledgement – our ‘spiritual human’ condition – is inborn in mankind. All people find their ‘true’ source in God and, hence, ‘identity’. 

GLORY : “glory and praise” : We are created for the “glory and praise” of God. This GLORY welcome – our ‘spiritual human’ worship – becomes our grateful response to  ‘life itself’ in, automatic, ‘affirmation’.

Thus, the Big Picture of ‘life itself’ is God’s 3 G’s (Gift Grace Glory) and Man’s 3 R’s (Receive Relate Return). In sum – 

‘Life Itself’ is “YOUR LOVE LETTER” from God

God saying: “I love you” / “I love you” / “I love you”

Our task is to ‘LIVE GOD’S LOVE’ in our lives
