If you’re not “part of” God, you’re ‘separated’

This is quite a profound ‘title theme’ (in #33 mode). And, to stretch your imagination further, let’s, also, consider –

There is only one “role” necessary : ‘DESIRE’

’‘DEMAND” : ‘Spirit Inspired Relationality’

(Luke 7:9 / Matthew 8:10)

Yes, we are considering ‘single social spiritual’ aspects of ‘Life Itself’ – in terms of ‘communion with’ or ‘separation from’ our Triune God.

Our original status was: “we walked and talked with God” (ie ‘we were “PART OF” God and God was all of us’). But, as a result of “The Fall” (ie our first parents ‘fall from Grace’ / ‘disobedience’) “we separated from God”. There ‘in a nutshell’ is the ‘crux’ of mankind’s dilemma.

The ‘human condition’ is complex and tends to absorb an awful lot of our attention. In fact, the ‘human conundrum’ – “If we weren’t dysfunctional we wouldn’t be normal” – was the context for the Booklet (The “GLOW” of Happiness / ‘Fit for Purpose’) and the follow on series of Blogs – ‘exploration into social and spiritual disconnect’.

Ok, you may well ask: “what about me?” / “where do I fit in?” / “how can I survive?”

(Notice: these questions are all about ‘me me me’ : ‘self for self’). So, let’s examine –

‘The Small Picture’ (‘attitude outlook perspective’) of the ‘human paradox’ “views” other human beings as “happy” (“getting on with their lives”), but, “poor me” is “stuck” (“going nowhere”). And, ‘my pain and misery in life’ reflecting “scarcity / negativity”.

‘The Big Picture’ (‘attitude outlook perspective’) of the ‘human puzzle’ is visible in the Bible ::: God made ‘PRO’VISION ::: VISION of ‘Perfect Relational Order’ (ie ‘Creation’ and ‘Creatures’) ::: ‘Gift Grace Glory’ (3 G’s). All was part of ‘One Divine Will’ – all was ‘whole’ / all was ‘holy’. And, all was ‘delight and joy in life’ reflecting “abundance / positivity”.

So, we “recognise” what is ‘different’ about these two scenarios (‘small picture of life’ vis a vis ‘large picture of life’). But, what is ‘common’ to both? Yes, ‘human beings’, but, as we can “see” some are LOST and some are FOUND. Why is this?

This is ‘The Ultimate Question’ for all mankind. And, believe it or not, ‘The Ultimate Answer’ is nearer to ‘our own selves’ than we care to “acknowledge” –

You’re: the ‘Problem’ / the ‘Blockage’ / the ‘Mess’

Ok, that may seem like a ‘smart alec’ assessment, but, it’s ‘The Wise Conclusion’

some of the greatest saints arrived at – towards the end of their lives – as a result of ‘tests trials tribulations’ they ‘suffered endured lived’ to ‘tell the tale’. It’s all there in the Bible, too – see Isaiah 6:9 and Mark 4:11-12.

“Cursed is the man who put his trust in man”

“Blessed are those who trust in their God”

(Jeremiah 17:5:7)

“The way you think is not God’s Way but man’s”

(Mark 8:33)

Ok, you may say: “that’s all nice and neat”, but, “I’m still in a mess”. Where, now?

You can’t ‘Be’, until you ‘Become’, what you are

It’s time for Good News ::: the Father sent His Son (Jesus the Christ) to bring us all back ‘home’ (ie ‘FIND the LOST sheep’). This ‘understanding’ is portrayed in the story of the Prodigal Son, who ‘separated’ from his real ‘home’ and ended up in a ‘pigsty’ – but he “came to his senses” and “returned home to his Father’s house” (Luke 15:12-24).

In sum: “we can’t ‘Be’ children of God, until we ‘Become’ children of God”. And, more Good News: ‘Christ enables us to live in Him, all that He himself lived, and He lives it in us’ (CCC 521). This is “HOW” we reconnect (via Jesus the Christ) with God (The Father) – we ‘Become’ “PART OF” God’s Family, so that we are able to ‘Be’ at ‘home’ with God, all the time / everyday – – – we – – –
