Embracing God’s ‘PRO’-VISION!

This article is a ‘follow-on’ to : God has made ‘PRO’-VISION! You will need to ‘take & eat & digest’ (same) before you can begin to ‘ponder’ what is set-out here.

To recap, briefly : we defined ‘PRO’ as Perfect Relational Order (as exemplified by Jesus, the Christ). And stated : the VISION is ours to see. Now, we explain this ‘view-point’ (per Romans 6:11) as “a life that looks towards God” (through Christ Jesus our Lord). So, God’s ‘PRO’-VISION is, simply : Jesus, the Christ.

And, finally, to complete our base-line references – without repeating too much – I draw your attention to the particular quotation, on the front page, under the website name ‘Konect 1-2-1’. This verse interprets Embracing as set-out in the title / theme to this Blog. It’s about ‘human / divine’ ‘reciprocity / mutuality / complementarity’ : ‘giving / receiving’ & ‘receiving / giving’.

So, to sum up, we are talking about : being an ‘other Christ’ in the world. I guess you are ahead of me, at this stage : asking : how on earth, in heavens name, can ordinary people ‘measure-up’ to such a sublime ideal? It is surely IMPOSSIBLE! Hold-on! Reflect on the following : ‘impossible’ Is Made Possible Once Subject Surrenders Into Being Love Eternal.

Now, I want you to embrace (i.e. throw your two arms around / in union) 3 R’s : Receive, Restore, Return. These are the basic elements of God’s ‘PRO’-VISION : as per ‘original endownment’ / ‘as it was in the beginning’. This ‘way-of-living’ (i.e. ‘way-of-loving’ / ‘way-of-relating’) was the ‘human / divine’ challenge / opportunity given to Jesus, the Christ, & – as His followers – given to ‘Each of us’, also. It seeks to translate into practice “Thy will be done” – as per the ‘Our Father’ prayer.

The ‘mode of entry’ into the mystical mystery of being an ‘other Christ’ is summarised in the key statement : ‘Christ enables us to live in him all that he himself lived, & he lives it in us’ (CCC 521). Note: it’s worthwhile reading / absorbing all sections (CCC 514 – 521). Being a disciple of Jesus, the Christ, demands real friendship & communion with Him – so that : we might live through Him.

In summary: Jesus, the Christ, is our model for Embracing God’s ‘PRO’-VISION. He enables us to Receive, Restore, Return ‘human / divine’ living : “on earth, as it is in heaven”.
