‘What on earth, in heaven’s name’ is ‘what’ this (“33” = Jesus the Christ) ‘title-theme’ is all about. So, ‘watch out for / grab hold of / hold on to’ “33”. We are going to delve into ::: ‘The three secrets of reality: WHO HOW NOW’ (“33”).
WHO ::: ‘Christ enables us to live in Him, His life’ (“33”).
The copy of the ‘Catechism of the Catholic Church’ (‘CCC’) – that I am making reference to – has 700 pages (approx.) and 2856 numbered sections. The ‘good news’ relevant to this article is contained in ‘CCC 521’ ::: ‘Christ enables us to live in him, all that he himself lived, and he lives it in us’. This statement is explained, as follows ::: ‘We are called only to become one with him, for he enables us, as the members of his Body, to share in what he lived for us in the flesh, as our model’ /‘For it is the plan of the Son of God to make us and the whole Church partake in his mysteries and to extend them to and continue them in us and in his whole Church’.
Here we have the ‘Know’ part of ‘Know / Love / Serve’ ::: “And this is eternal life: That they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3). Here, also, we’re aware of the ‘Gift’ part of ‘Gift / Grace / Glory’ and the need to be ‘open’ to ‘Receive’ (Christ), which is part of ‘Receive / Restore / Return’.
HOW ::: ‘Manifesting Jesus the Christ likeness’ (“33”).
In the Bible story of creation Man was made last of all the creatures. But, Man was to be different ::: ‘flesh and spirit’ / ‘heaven and earth’ / ‘body soul and spirit’ was put together in Man. God said ::: “Let us make Man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:26) ::: “And God created Man in his image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). Hence, the ‘goal of life’ ::: “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9) ::: Man’s role is ::: ‘Manifesting Jesus the Christ likeness’.
‘Where’ might this happen? We respond to Jesus’ invitation ::: “Come and see” (John 1:39) ::: like the two followers of John the Baptist ::: who “went and stayed with Him”. As per previous article ::: ‘PLAY’ and ‘PRAY’ is the way to partake of God. We worship God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) when we ‘consciously and deliberately’ set our ‘mind / heart / will’ on Jesus the Christ ::: And “as we gaze upon the Lord’s glory, we are being transformed into His likeness” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Here, again, we have the ‘Love’ part of ‘Know / Love / Serve’ ::: Here, also, we are aware of the ‘Grace’ part of ‘Gift / Grace / Glory’ and the need to to be ‘open’ to ‘Restore’ (image and likeness), which is part of ‘Receive / Restore / Return’.
NOW ::: ‘Affirm Bless Celebrate life to the full’ (“33”).
Readers of our ‘foundational’ Booklet – see eBook under this website’s ‘VISION’ button – The “GLOW” of Happiness / ‘FIT’ for Purpose and these ‘Konect 1-2-1’ blogs will be familiar with the prime focus placed on ::: ‘Affirm Bless Celebrate’ (‘ABC’) ‘mode of living’. In particular, we stated ::: ‘Jesus the Christ is the perfect representation of an AFFIRMED and AFFIRMING person’ and, that AFFIRMATION – ‘bonding into our social family’ / ‘baptising into our spiritual family’ – is ‘key’ to ‘NOW’ (‘present moment’) living. The very essence of God (‘Trinity’ / ‘Three Divine Persons’) is “‘RELATIONALITY”’ (‘reciprocity / mutuality / complementarity’) and that ‘quality / value’ has been ‘imprinted’ (‘programmed’) into our HUMANITY.
If we have the ‘stability’ (‘Assured Base Connectivity’) of AFFIRMATION – ‘where’ we experience being ‘Affirm(ed) / Befirm(ed) / Confirm(ed)’ in our own unique ‘value / identity’ (i.e. in our own ‘personal goodness’) – we are “FIT” for Purpose (i.e. ‘ready and willing’) to ‘Bless / Celebrate life to the full’.
Here, too, we have the ‘Serve’ part of ‘Know / Love / Serve’ ::: Here, also, we are aware of the ‘Glory’ part of ‘Gift / Grace / Glory’ and the need to be ‘open’ to ‘Return’ (to God), which is part of ‘Receive / Restore / Return’.
In ‘33’ ::: ‘The Love That Loves To Love: in You I trust’.
