‘IT IS AS IT IS’
This title / theme would appear – at first sight – to be rather obvious / ‘matter of fact’. So, you may ask: what on earth in heaven’s name are you ‘on’ about? Let me ‘whet your appetite’ by stating – up front – that the concept represented above is one of the most wise ‘freeing-up-insights’ ever contemplated.
Before getting too ‘fixated’ on the topic (as set out) I am going to introduce an alternative ‘perspective / perception / interpretation’ which says: ‘Everything Everywhere Is All-Ready All-Right’. And – while we’re in this ‘place / space’ – let’s add a third paradigm ‘for good measure’: ‘God is in charge’.
If you have delved into the foundational Booklet / eBook: The “GLOW of Happiness / “FIT” for Purpose: you will be aware of the great divide (separation) described in the Genesis ‘fall-out’ story: what ‘LIFE’ was like! “I felt” Loved Inspired Fulfilled Engaged – vis a vie – what ‘LIFE’ is now! “I feel” Lonely Insecure Frustrated Exploited.
This “feel-factor” differenciation is set-out in terms of: how ‘EMOTIONALLY-AFFIRMED’ people see the world (because they have been Affirmed Blessed Celebrated) & how ‘EMOTIONALLY-DEPRIVED’ people see the world (because they have been Abandoned Betrayed Condemned). Now: the big question is: how can one move (‘motion / emotion’) from being ‘DEPRIVED’ to being ‘AFFIRMED’? The short answer is: “you can’t”: “God can”.
So, it’s time to ‘PRO’-CLAIM our ‘Assured Being Connectivity’ (i.e. our Faith ‘ABC’) to God / to what is “Right, True & Good”. (Note: as per previous articles: ‘PRO’ stands for: ‘Perfect Relational Order’: this is ‘foundational’ to creation / creatures). Now, again: the “key” we are about to trust into your hands is this: “you” (too) have to follow John the Baptist, Jesus the Christ, Peter & Paul in PROCLAIMING (i.e. manifesting / not just preaching) the greatest secret (‘hidden in clear view’) ever revealed: “Behold I make all things new” (Revelations 21:5).
The essence of the ‘human quandary’ is: ‘finding meaning’. The focus is on: what we are? (our Value): who we are? (our Identity): how we are? (our Affirmation): in short: our “VIA” : the “WAY” we are. Being human can mean: Singularity (i.e. Single mode of being): Duality (i.e. Social mode of being): Trinity (Spiritual mode of being). Note: These are shown in “motion” / in “code-mode”, at the top left corner of this website’s frontpage.
All the above, hopefully, opens-up NEW possibilities. In ‘single-mode’ we are ‘static’: in ‘social-mode’ we are subject to ‘attraction / resistance’: in ‘spiritual-mode’ we are free to be, all we can be. This NEW perspective brings to mind the advice offered by the (mythical) Kerryman to the tourist looking for directions: “If I was you, I wouldn’t start from here”: translation: “open your eyes man, you are both lost & found”. This insight is quoted in the ‘hand-out’ leaflet: “Happy are those who recognize they are LOST & realize they are FOUND”.
We (humans) tend to “see” one another only on the surface level (unaware of: What lies beneath? – as per last month’s article), but, Jesus, the Christ (human & divine) “saw” each person at a deeper level. In addition, we tend to live our lives, almost exclusively, on a horizontal level, whereas Jesus, the Christ lived, fully inclusively, on a vertical level (“in the bosom of the Father”). How are we to ‘cross the divide’? The answer (again) is set-out in the ‘hand-out’: “We joyfully discover ‘where we are’ when our horizontal mode of life (i.e. social) & our vertical mode of life (i.e. spiritual) cross each other & are reconciled”.
The Bible tells us that Adam & Eve “walked with God”, but, when the test of ‘personal responsible choice’ arose, they “turned from God”. The human “fall-out” has been: ‘dis-abling / dis-connecting / dis-orienting’. Pre “Fall” our ‘original’ nature was to: ‘Affirm, Bless, Celebrate each other (i.e. our ‘ABC’ inheritance). Post “Fall” our ‘default’ nature turned to ‘Accuse, Blame, Condemn’ each other (i.e. our ‘ABC’ chastisement). So, how can “you” become “FIT” for Purpose? Here, again, we are back to that ‘handout’ (mentioned twice, already) – practice / practice / practice:
* Flee to God always: “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a ‘miserable / miserable / miserable’ sinner”.
* Invoke God’s help constantly: “Lord Jesus Christ, come in your Glory, into ‘my’ situation, now & forever”.
* Thank God in everything: “Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you, I praise you, I adore you; I hope in you, I trust in you & I love you, Lord Jesus; give me grace, Lord, the fullness of grace like Mary & Joseph to live the sanctity of your divine will, today & forever”.
The essence of the solution – as prescribed by Jesus the Christ – is that we have to be “born again” / to become “child-like” / to get a NEW nature – “mind & heart” – “ let your mind be remade & your whole nature thus transformed” – (as per Romans 12:1-2).
NEW Evangelisation is about evangelising this “‘WAY OF LIVING”’. Jesus the Christ came to earth to show us the “WAY” (VIA). All we have to “do” is “be” open to His message / His invitation. Note the underlying questions: “Where are you?” / “Where do you live?”. Jesus the Christ says: “Come to me” / “Come & see”. This is your (own) invitation to “be” a partaker in: The “GLOW” of Happiness: the “WAY OF LIFE” that offers ‘meaning, relevance, purpose’ to your (unique) ‘gifted life’.
