Healing ‘means’ : ‘Confessing and Blessing’

This ‘title theme’ (in #33 mode) is an ‘outreach’ on the ‘outcome’ of the previous Blog: The ‘VIA’ Way: ‘Value Identity Affirmation’.

As you may know – if you have ‘dipped into’ Konect 1-2-1 articles – our original thesis was: ‘If we weren’t dysfunctional we wouldn’t be normal’ (sub-titled: ‘an exploration into social and spiritual disconnect’). And, the most recent ‘determination’ (as per Blog 10/4/19) states the ‘human condition’ seems ‘entrapped’ in a LOST state –

‘Delusional Dysfunctional Diabolical’

So, if that is the “old diagnostic”, what is the “new prescription”? And, here it is: We are made in the “image and likeness” of God (Genesis 1:27) and God is a Trinity of persons in perfect ‘COMMUNION’ and anything that ‘breaks communion’ disintegrates ‘life itself’.

Ok, you may say, what has ‘all this’ got to do with this Blog’s title? That’s a good question! And, here’s the answer: ‘everything’ ::: the only way we can ‘deal with’ the ‘fall out’ from ‘The Fall’ is by ‘Confessing and Blessing’ –

‘Confessing and Blessing’ destroys evil

‘Confessing and Blessing’ reconciles us

‘Confessing and Blessing’ restores life

Yes, ‘Confessing and Blessing’ is the ‘key’ to ‘Life itself’ –

‘Breaking’ the “‘3D AL’s”’ (above) that ‘imprison’

(The ‘fall-out’ chain of evil that is ‘enmity’)

Our ‘FREEDOM’ is in the basic Bible  message –

“Love God above all and neighbour as self”

As per previous article: we “hunger and thirst” for LOVE, but where is it to be FOUND?

It is to ‘right here’ / ‘right now’, if we ‘only’ had eyes to “see” ::: “Lord, that I may see” (Luke 18:41). Yes, our ‘trinitarian’ essence is –

Life : ‘Reciprocal Mutual Complementary’

We ‘crave’ (‘desire’) ‘“APPROVAL’” and ‘“BELONGING’” (ie LOVE) and, again, where is it to be FOUND? The answer, of course, is in God’s Family. We are all ‘Family of God’ – we are all “brothers and sisters in Christ” (Matthew 12:46-50 / Mark 3:31-35 / Luke 8:19-21).

So, the ‘reality’ question is :::  WHERE ARE ‘YOU’? ::: ‘Happy are those who recognise they are LOST and realise they are FOUND’ ::: ‘We joyfully discover ‘WHERE WE ARE” when our ‘horizontal mode of life’ (ie ‘social’) and our ‘vertical mode of life’ (ie ‘spiritual’) CROSS each other and are reconciled’.

Yes, the ‘message’ and the ‘meaning’ of the CROSS becomes ‘central’ to ‘life itself’ ::: “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23) – – – we have to “be” ‘big enough’ (‘socially’) and ‘small enough’ (‘spiritually’) to ‘Confess and Bless’ God and neighbour – – – ‘again and again and again’.

We can choose “death” (ie “deny” and “curse”) or we can choose “life” (ie “confess” and “bless”). Christ crucified is at the ‘heart’ of the matter – ‘good’ vis a vis ‘evil’ – we have to ‘learn’ to “turn the other cheek” (Matthew 5:38) ::: ‘DRAW’ (out), which means ‘Die (to ‘self’) Recognise Acknowledge Welcome (‘other’) vis a vis ‘WARD’ (off), which means ‘Wage Antagonistic Relational Defiance’. (Note: ‘DRAW’ – reverse – ‘WARD’).

In sum: Healing is all about ‘TRANSPARENCY’ –

It means: coming out of “hiding” into “light”

It means: being ‘OPEN’ to “do” : being ‘OPEN’ to “be”

It means: “walking with God“ : “talking to God”

‘Life itself’  – “I came that you may have life in abundance” (John 10:10) – is about “living” and “celebrating” COMMUNION with God and neighbour.
