God’s Family : ‘God’s Love that Loves to Love’

The focus of this ‘title theme’ (in #33 mode) is on ‘PERSPECTIVES’ we ‘adopt’ – ‘knowingly or unwittingly’ – which critically impact – ‘for better or worse’ – daily LIFE.  At the root of individual and (sometimes) collective ‘PERSPECTIVE’ are ‘attitudes and assumptions’ (we ‘hold on to’) which ‘PREJUDICE (prejudge) VIEWPOINT’.

In the ‘light’ of all that, let’s ‘open up’ this final article (‘trilogy’ on God’s Family: see, also: Blogs 9/6/18 & 8/7/18) with a ‘Big Question’ / ‘Big Answer’ that may help us ‘get to grips’ with God’s Family  – – – “Dear God, am I ever going to be acceptable?” – – – “Dear Child, you are Family and I am Father”.

So much of LIFE’s difficulties ‘stem from’ a lack of a ‘secure base’ / a ‘welcoming home’. Now, you may say: “that’s all ‘nice and neat’, but, I feel ‘all alone’ and don’t know where to turn”. Ok, you’re “stuck” (‘bad news’) and you need a “shock” (‘good news’) to get your LIFE together ::: ‘Happy are those who recognise they are LOST and realise they are FOUND’ ::: “take another look”: is your cup ‘half empty’ or ‘half full’?.

Ok, ok, let’s get PERSPECTIVE ::: tune in your ‘sat nav’ to see the ‘Big Picture’ ::: ‘We joyfully discover WHERE WE ARE (LOST / FOUND) when our ‘horizontal mode of life’ (i.e. social) and our ‘vertical mode of life’ (i.e. spiritual) CROSS each other and are RECONCILED’. Yes, the CROSS is at the centre of LIFE and that’s why the ‘VIA’ logo is at the ‘core’ of ‘Konect 1-2-1’ (website) front page.

“Be” who you are: a truly unique ‘child of God’

“Be” who you are: God accepts you as(s) you are

Alone with none but Thee, my God, I journey – – –

What need I fear when Thou are near, O’King – – –

Ok, ok, ok: we need to get ‘a handle’ on God’s Family, so that we can “walk with God”. What better way than to learn (“off by heart”) ‘His Perfection Formula’ –

       3 G’s + 1 Cross + 3 R’s = 7      

       ‘Gift Grace Glory’ + ‘Receive Relate Return’

Yes, it’s as ‘simple and childlike’ ‘covenant / commitment / contract’, as set out ::: God’s Offer = Gift (Jesus the Christ) + Grace (Holy Spirit) + Glory (The Father) ::: Human Acceptance = Receive (Be ‘open’) + Relate (Be ‘kind’) + Return (Be ‘home’). And, HOW are you going to ‘fulfill’ (‘fill to the full’) this LIFE challenge?

Yes, again – as you will have noticed – the ‘7th element’ is the CROSS, which is OUR (i.e. ‘human’) “escape hatch” ::: we need no longer be “stuck” in ‘worldly dualities’ (i.e. ‘horizontal modes of living’) ::: we can be “free” in ‘trinitarian transcendence’ (i.e. ‘vertical ways of life’). And, WHO said so? ::: “I have come that you may have life and have it to the full” ::: Jesus the Christ (John 10:10).

‘God, in His action, makes Himself present’

‘The Father + Jesus the Christ + Holy Spirit’

Holy Trinity : ‘The Love, that Loves, to Love’

Do you begin to get the ‘Big Picture Perspective’? ::: Life is God’s Gift ::: All Life is Sacred ::: “In God we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).

The ‘Mystery of LIFE’ (hidden in clear view) is ::: God  generates Creation (in ‘Fatherhood’) ::: Mary manifests Creation (in ‘Motherhood’) ::: we are Brothers / Sisters (in ‘Christ’) ::: we are ‘Family’ (God’s Family).

So, ‘remember’ (& do not forget) – – –

Let life : Live life : Love life : “I am with you”

Let life : live life ; Love life : ‘God’s Family’

Let life : Live life ; Love life : ‘Family Life’

In sum: ‘God is Father’ / ‘Mary is Mother’ / ‘Christ in us’.
