#33 Statements, to ponder, for each and all
This ‘title / theme’ marks the introduction of ‘Konect 1-2-1’ new website. It features an interactive #33 Medium (under ‘CELEBRATE’) for Messages (social / spiritual) and for Meanings (in people’s lives). So, here are some examples to ‘get you going’ (i.e. opportunity to ‘share’ / ‘contribute’) –
Message:
‘See the child Jesus, says Mary, his Mother’ (= #33)
‘He is the Christ: come to Him: stay with Him’ (= #33)
Meaning:
In ‘relational’ language, Mary seeks our attention. Here’s ‘Way of Life’ model, for each and all: every person (child / adult) is created in “image and likeness” of God.
Message:
‘You made us for Yourself: You are our rest’ (= #33)
Meaning:
As you may guess, this is a ‘mini-take’ on St. Augustine’s insightful observation: “You made us for yourself, O’Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You”. Yes, God created mankind (human beings) ‘after His own heart’ and for Himself. We are ‘God’s children’ / ‘God’s family’. This is ‘where’ we ‘belong’ and ‘long to be’.
Message:
‘The all embracing life: Gift / Grace / Glory’ (= #33)
‘Jesus the Christ: Holy Spirit: The Father’ (= #33)
‘The Incarnation: The Trinity: Gratitude’ (= #33)
Meaning:
This is a ‘mini picture’ of the Christian Life: the three divine persons ‘co-create’: Gift (Jesus the Christ) / Grace (Holy Spirit) / Glory (The Father) and we respond with Gratitude (for ‘Incarnation’ / ‘Trinity’). The reality of life is: we are ‘caught-up’ in God’s action and presence. God is with us ‘always’: “I am with you” (Matthew 28:20 and Isaiah 41:10). Let us ‘gather together’ in daily life and ‘rejoice and be glad’.
Message:
‘When you’re stuck, nothing seems to stick’ (= #33)
Meaning:
We all know the feeling of being in ‘default’ mode (i.e. when we’re “stuck”). We are suffering from ‘some sort’ of ‘PTSD’ (‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), partly due to our ‘human condition’ (as a result of The Fall), but, also, linked to other ‘childhood (frightening) incidents’.
As the most ‘vulnerable’ of all baby creatures, we ‘get to’ react with ‘fear and fright and foreboding’ and (automatically) ‘pull down the shutters’ (i.e. go into ‘hiding’, like Adam and Eve). We ‘imprison ourselves’ and become ‘unreachable / untouchable / uncivil’ to ‘outsiders’ (who may, genuinely, want to help). Hence: “nothing seems to stick”.
Now, after all that, i’m not going to leave you ‘in the lurch’ (i.e. ‘abandoned’). If you look at the back cover of Booklet / eBook (The “GLOW” of Happiness / ‘FIT’ for Purpose) you will see the ‘good news’ I want to draw your attention to, under the title: The “stuck” Factor: “what has been, is now; what is to be, has already been; and God requires that which is past” (Ecclesiastes 3:15). Yes, God understands our ‘predicament’. He (simply) says: “Trust Me” (“I am: Way Truth Life”) / “Hand over all your fears” / “I will wipe them away” (and allow you to ‘get on’ with the ‘rest’ of your life).
